Access CCN articles on your eReader

The black and white format of many common eReaders is optimized for reading books. However, most eReaders have the capability to access CCN content. Because all eReaders have different features, follow the questions and answers below to determine how to access CCN articles on your eReader.

Does your eReader have WiFi/3G access?

Yes. Continue to the next question.

No, I load books on my eReader via my computer. On your computer, go to the CCN Web site (www.ccnonline.org) and download the articles you want to transfer to your eReader onto your computer. Convert these PDFs to the ePub format by using a free online ePub converter such as www.2epub.com. Upload the ePub files to your eReader library.

Does your eReader have a browser?

Yes. Continue to the next question.

No. You will not be able to access CCN because your device does not connect to the Internet and the open Web.

Does your eReader display Web sites?

Yes. Access CCN at the Publications page on the AACN Web site at www.aacn.org/Publications. Choose between viewing the CCN Web site or the digital editions of the journal issues.

No. Access CCN at m.ccn.ccnjournals.org. (You may have to "next page" your way through the abstract of the article before choosing "full text" to read the entire text.)
